Brenton Costa started playing the piano at the age of four. His love of sound, music and technology drove him to study music for picture throughout his early education. After receiving recognition by the Grammy Foundation for an original work his senior year of high school, Brenton attended Central Connecticut State University, where he earned a degree in Music Theory and Composition.

Following his Graduation, Brenton was awarded the Pete Carpenter Fellowship for Film Composers by the BMI Foundation where he was able to work with Mike Post on Law and Order: SVU. After the success of the fellowship, Brenton moved to LA, where he began writing music for TV commercials. In 2012, he scored his first feature film, 3 Day Christmas, written and directed by Corbin Bernsen. Brenton continues to score for Bernsen and his film company, Home Theater Films

In 2015, Brenton composed and recorded music for the Tokyo Disneyland Summer Festival Parade. In 2016, he  partnered with composer and lyricist Mary Morales to create Throughline Music, a production studio aimed at providing complete music solutions ranging from film scores to song placements.
